The newspaper Democracy was founded on October 17, 1931 by the attorney Moses Lebensohn , inspire intellectual in the decade following the guidelines of the Movement and Renewal Intransigence radicalism . In 1949 he led the bloc of the Radical Civic Union (UCR) collected in the constitutional convention that year, and presided over the National Convention of the UCR when he died, at age 45, on June 14th of 1953 .
