Daily Dispatch is a South African newspaper published in East London in the province of Eastern Cape. Founded in 1872 as East London Dispatch, the Dispatch is today the Eastern Cape's best selling daily with a circulation of about 33,000 copies. The newspaper covers areas such as local news, sports, business, jobs, and community events. Published in English, it also includes a supplement in Xhosa.

Although not the first English language newspaper in Southern African the Daily Dispatch was the first locally to use the telegraph for news gathering. As of 2009, the Argus had a daily readership of 359 000 and a circulation of 60 552.
